Balanced Scorecard Basics

The Balanced Scorecard is an excellent tool for communicating, measuring, and executing a strategic management plan. However, implementing a Balanced Scorecard  is more complex than many organisations realise, and requires a well-planned, dedicated approach. This course provides a comprehensive breakdown of the Balanced Scorecard toolkit that managers can apply immediately when they return to the workplace. This Balanced Scorecard training course is fully customisable for organisations who may wish to focus on particular aspects of the Balanced Scorecard guide over others.

This introductory, one-day workshop has been designed to provide managers with the tools necessary to learn how to develop a Balanced Scorecard. Our Balanced Scorecard training course begins by teaching participants what the Balanced Scorecard is, and what economic needs it addresses. Attendees learn how to evaluate if the Balanced Scorecard is the right tool for their organisation. Participants will also review the ten most common issues with Balanced Scorecards and plan how to avoid them in order to effectively implement the Balanced Scorecard.  Attendees also  create the Balanced Scorecard itself; tactical action plans; strategy maps; vision, mission, and value alignment; project vision statements; and core plans and processes necessary for a  successful Balanced Scorecard.

If you are responsible for ensuring results for a team, department, division or the organisation itself, or want to create a consistent performance model for your organisation, this is the program for you.
